Best Friend Supplies Co is a woman-owned, pet accessory and dog advocacy brand based in Boston MA. Our reactivity journey began when we adopted dog, Luna, and began looking for products to help others understand and empathize with her reactivity. Our main advocacy product is our line of leash sleeves – bright signs that attach to a dog’s leash – that alert others of the dog’s particular needs or disposition. They are color-coded and include phrases like "I Need Space", "Do Not Approach", or "Ask To Pet" to help get your pup the extra space they need. They are fully customizable so they can be a great tool for any dog or situation. We also carry printed leashes with similar phrases and some human-centric accessories (like shirts, stickers, and pins) to help spread awareness and bring some humor to the stressful life of being a reactive dog owner. Our goal is to help every dog owner advocate for their pets so they can focus on having a great life together.
